Summer Programs
This section provides summer program options for students including job readiness skills, life skills, leadership skills, college and career exploration, special education, wilderness, academic, arts, etc.  This section also provides resources for educators, parents, and providers to create new or strengthen existing summer programs.

Academic Summer Camps- Education Unlimited

Since 1993, Education Unlimited has provided comprehensive academic summer camps to children ages K-12. Located in California and Massachusetts, students focus on public speaking, college admissions prep, science camps for girls, acting, creative writing, computer skills, video production, and East Coast college tours.

Army National Guard Youth Programs

The Army National Guard is proud of the outreach programs that have been implemented recently. The Army National Guard has launched two youth programs to help those that may be at risk: About Face provides at-risk youth the tools they need to stay in school and get a job. It teaches youths the skills employers want. Forward March for Young Adults is a hands-on program that teach job and life skills so that youths can make the move from welfare to work.

Disney Youth Education Series

National Student Leadership Conference
For over 20 years, the National Student Leadership Conference has invited a select group of outstanding high school students to participate in its fast-paced, high-level, interactive summer sessions. Sponsored by the National Student Leadership Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, nonpartisan, education organization, the NSLC provides students with the opportunity to experience life on a college campus; develop essential leadership skills; and explore a future career through exciting simulations, exclusive site visits and interactive meetings with renowned leaders in their chosen field.

National Young Leaders Conference

National Young Leaders Conference: Skills in Leadership for Change is an annual youth conference for high school students. The conference provides students with experiences and strategies to succeed and prepare in college. Through the interactive program, students gain hands-on experience and are also given the opportunity to earn college credit through George Mason University.

Since 1990 the National Youth Network (initially known as the Western Youth Network) has been helping parents and professionals alike in providing education and information regarding programs and services for underachieving youth.
